How it works
You choose a plan and fill out a simple online form with information regarding your business.
I send you my detailed, step-by-step guides for any additional actions I need from you.
I design your site (usually takes 1-5 days depending on the complexity).
I launch the site and transfer ownership to you - congratulations on your new website!
Alternatively, I am available to call and talk you through all of these steps.
Basic: £70
This is the most basic site for those who want something very simple, with fewer features and lower yearly payments. You will need to take out a subscription to the website hosting system at approximately £7 per year so that you can have sole ownership of the site. This will be the only recurring payment.

Standard: £100
The Standard Plan includes some more advanced features. This means you will be required to take out a higher level subscription to the website hosting system at approximately £15 per year in order to host these features plus around £5 per year to the domain retailer for a customised name.

Premium: £120
The Premium Package is for those who want a more interactive site with the most engaging and professional features. It requires the same subscription to the website hosting system at approximately £15 per year, as well as around £5 per year for the customised domain name from the domain retailer.

I design simple, modern, single-page websites with features including booking forms, reviews, and contact forms.
If you opted for a plan which allows customised domain name setup, I will send you a step-by-step guide for purchasing the domain (so that it is in your ownership) and I will then link the website to this domain. If you opted for the premium plan and want an automatic review system, I will send you a step-by-step guide to setting up the Google form (so that it is under your own account) and you then need to send me the associated links. Neither of these should take more than 30 minutes
I utilize Carrd web hosting system when designing websites. In order to access most features like interactive buttons and image uploads, the account that owns the website must be subscribed to the Pro Lite plan or higher. As features get more advanced (For example contact forms and review systems), a Pro Standard subscription or higher is required. For these reasons, you must take out the correct Carrd subscription so that when I transfer the website to your account, all the features of the website are still available and function properly.
A domain name is your website’s unique address on the internet. People type it into their browser to find your site - for example, the domain name of this website is www.houghtonwebstudio.co.uk . If you purchase my basic plan, you will choose your own domain name but it will have to end in .carrd.co. Therefore many people opt for one of the plans with a customised domain name so that they can choose the ending of the domain name and have it as something more recognisable and professional such as .co.uk or .com.
Once I have designed the site, I will send you a link to it so that you can view it as a customer would and check you are happy with everything so that I can make any further modifications if necessary. Once you are happy, that is when payment is required. After I have received payment, I transfer the website to your own Carrd account so that it is in your ownership - I can no longer edit it.
